# Ellipse

Draw circles and ovals.

**Shortcut:** O

## How to use

1. Select the Ellipse tool (press O)
2. Click and drag to draw the ellipse
3. Release to finish

## Options

| Option | Values | Description |
|--------|--------|-------------|
| **Color** | Any color | Stroke and fill color |
| **Width** | 0.1–40px | Border thickness |
| **Fill** | Open, Filled | Fill mode |
| **Shadow** | On / Off | Drop shadow behind the ellipse |

### Fill modes

- **Open** — Border only, transparent inside
- **Filled** — Solid color fill with border

## Tips

- **Shift+drag** — Draw a perfect circle
- **Circles** — Great for highlighting small UI elements
- **Ovals** — Use for highlighting text or wider areas
- **Dots** — Small filled circles work as bullet points

**Circling a button:**
> Draw an open ellipse around the element

> Use a filled circle behind text or icons

**Attention marker:**
> A bright circle draws the eye
