Manage devices

If you need to deactivate hypershot on a device you no longer have access to — an old laptop you sold, a machine that died, a reinstall that counted twice — you don’t need to email support. The manage page handles it yourself, in about a minute.

You can find it at hypernuclear.com/license/manage.

The manage page asks for two things:

  1. The email address you used when purchasing
  2. Your license key (from your purchase confirmation email — the XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX code)

Both must match the license on file. If either is wrong you’ll get the same generic “invalid email or license key” message — that’s intentional, so nobody can probe which emails have licenses.

Once signed in, you’ll see every device currently using your license, with the name hypershot reported when it activated:

  1. Find the device you want to remove
  2. Click Deactivate next to it
  3. The slot frees up immediately — activate on your new machine whenever you’re ready

Your session on the manage page expires after 30 minutes, after which you just sign in again.

  • The license key is the credential. Anyone holding your key can manage your devices — treat your purchase email like a password and keep the key to yourself.
  • Deactivating doesn’t refund or cancel anything — it only frees a device slot.
  • Every license — v1.x or Lifetime — is for one person on up to three personal devices (see the Terms of Service).
  • If all your devices are legitimately in use and you need more slots, contact support@hypernuclear.com.
