The arrow’s body width (2–500px) isn’t a toolbar option — set it on the canvas with the width handles (below).

  • Normal — Standard head and body
  • Pointy — Barbed head that flares out past the body
  • Fancy — Normal head with a heavily tapered tail

Arrows are rendered as filled polygons with intuitive on-canvas control points for precise shaping:

  • Start/End points — Drag to reposition the tail or tip
  • Bend handle — Drag the midpoint to curve the arrow
  • Width handles — Drag perpendicular to the body to change body width
  • Taper handles — Drag at the tail to taper the arrow body
  • Head taper handles — Drag at the head junction to adjust head base width
  • Head width handles — Drag to resize the arrowhead barbs

These controls appear when the arrow is selected, giving you full control over the arrow’s shape directly on the canvas.

  1. Draw a straight arrow
  2. Select it
  3. Drag the center bend handle to add a curve
  • Shift+drag — Constrain to 45° angles (horizontal, vertical, diagonal)
  • Quick pointer — Great for callouts and directing attention
  • Shape the arrow — Use the on-canvas handles to create thick, tapered, or stylized arrows
  • Double head — Enable for showing bidirectional relationships
  • Rounded — Turn on to soften corners for a friendlier, organic look
